In 1966, two Brazilian electronics technicians, Miguel José Viana and Manoel Pereira da Cruz, were discovered dead on Vintém Hill near Rio de Janeiro. Both men were found wearing homemade lead masks over their eyes, dressed in suits and raincoats despite the warm weather, with no obvious signs of violence or struggle.
