AFTER DARK | The Clown

October 2016. Clown sightings are spreading across the country. But what happens when one of those clowns shows up at your front door?

In the fall of 2016, reports of creepy clown sightings began appearing across the United States. People dressed as clowns were spotted lurking in neighborhoods, standing along roadsides, and frightening unsuspecting strangers. For some, it was nothing more than an unsettling Halloween prank. For others, the encounters were far more dangerous.

For one high school student, the clown craze seems like little more than another strange internet phenomenon. Between school, football with his friends, and enjoying Halloween, he has plenty of other things to worry about.

What follows is a terrifying Halloween encounter that will change the way he remembers the infamous clown epidemic forever.

Tonight on After Dark, we’re diving into a chilling Halloween horror story inspired by the infamous 2016 clown sightings.
